Meriden Teen using Kickstarter to develop his own Game company

Platt High School Junior Jake Bayer using Kickstarter to fund game development company, Closed Umbrella Games

Jake Bayer, a 17-year-old Junior at Platt High School, makes video games for a living. He owns his own company, Closed Umbrella Games. He has recently developed for Sony’s PlayStation Mobile platform, releasing a game on their store called Dogs of Combat. The platform is being shut down, and Jake has decided to start developing for Apple’s iOS platform. However, he needs money for all the hardware and software upgrades, so Jake has launched a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter. The campaign lasts until July 8th at 3:27pm.
