Meriden Weather Alert: Weekend Snow Total Prediction Increased

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Meriden in anticipation of Saturday’s storm.

Snow will begin falling Saturday morning. The heaviest snow will fall in the afternoon, along with a mixutre of sleet and freezing rain. Snowfall will taper in the evening.

Total accumulation of five to seven inches of snow are possible along with a tenth of an inch of ice. Wind gusts will be up to 30 miles-per-hour Saturday afternoon into the evening.
