Meriden Woman Accused of Sexually Assaulting Teen Runaway: Report

The incident allegedly occurred in April of last year.

MERIDEN, CT — Twenty-year-old Meriden resident Rebekah Putzig was arrested Saturday on a charge of second-degree sexual assault in connection with the alleged assault on a 15-year-old girl who had runaway, reports the Meriden Record-Journal.

The incident reportedly occurred in April of last year at Putzig's South Colony Road home, where the teen went after running away. A second person, who police are attempting to identify, was also involved in the assault.

Putzig was also charged with impairing the morals of a minor. She was released by the court on a promise to appear on Feb. 7.
