Meriden YMCA Announces New Adaptive Dance Program

Adaptive Dance Programs from ages 7 - 17 start at the Meriden YMCA Dance Academy the weekend of October 6th

The Meriden YMCA Dance Academy is excited to introduce our New Adaptive Dance Program!

This dance class is specifically designed for both children and teens on the Autism Spectrum as well as any other emotional, physical, and cognitive needs that the participant may have.

This class is lead by Carolyn Lavelle, Therapeutic Dance Recreational Specialist, along with both volunteers & mentors, providing that extra added assistance to help you get your "groove on"!

So come on in and join us for this fun filled, energizing class dancing to the latest dance music out there as well as some favorites such as: Cotton Eyed Joe, The Whip and The Electric/Cha Cha slide!

Ages: 7 - 17 years old

Dates: Friday class: October 6th - November 17

Saturday class: October 7- November 18

When: Choose your class day/time when you register.

Fridays 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. or Saturday 1:30 - 2:15 p.m.

Where: Meriden YMCA Arts Center, 14-16 West Main Street, 2nd floor

Fee: Full Members $45 Program Members $75

Register: At the Meriden YMCA at 110 West Main Street.
