The incident occurred Saturday morning, April 22.

MERIDEN, CT — After wandering around naked in downtown Meriden, in addition to attempting to climb a tree, a man had to be stun-gunned by police Saturday when he refused to stand down, reports the Meriden Record-Journal.
No injuries were reported, but the man, whose identity was not released, was taken to MidState Medical Center for evaluation following the 10 a.m. incident on South First Street.
Police said the man appeared to have been on some sort of narcotic at the time, and he as yet has not been charged with a crime.
