Naugatuck Police: Meriden, Naugatuck, and Milford Men Charged With Larceny

Police made three recent larceny arrests, all in separate cases in the borough.

Three men were charged by Naugatuck police in three separate cases with larceny after allegedly stealing items while in the borough.

  • On March 18, police say William Walsh, 43, of Mount Pleasant Street in Meriden is charged with fifth-degree larceny for a Jan. 6 incident. Walsh is accused of stealing an acquaintances Samsung Tablet 4 worth $400.
  • On March 19, police say Joshua Hogberg, 26, of Main Street in Milford is charged with fifth-degree larceny for a Jan. 31 incident at Walmart. Police say he allegedly stole a Dyson vacuum cleaner and speakers worth $678. He was released after posting $5,000 bond.
  • On March 21, police say Jason Taylor, 32, of Thistle Down Lane is charged with fifth-degree larceny for an alleged theft that occurred on Feb. 23. Taylor is alleged to have stolen a family member’s Samsung Galaxy Tablet worth $600.
