Obituary: Alexander C. Clark, 33

He worked as a personal trainer, ventured on as an entrepreneur and was an excellent, fun, and loving father.

MERIDEN, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Alexander C. Clark, 33, of New Britain, passed away March 13, 2023 unexpectedly at his home.

Alex was born in Providence, RI on August 28, 1989, a son of Dorothy Clark and Cornell Reed. After graduating East Providence High School, he went on to attend Becker College in Worcester MA, where he received his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science.

Later relocated to Meriden, where he worked as a Personal Trainer, ventured on as an entrepreneur and became a loving father to his daughter Olivia.

Alex was an excellent, fun, and loving father, who’s favorite pastime was having dance parties with Olivia and going to the playground.

Among other entrepreneurial pursuits, he successfully established Peak Unlimited, an ecommerce shipping business. He also drove for Uber for many years and was extremely proud of his excellent rating and great driving record.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Olivia Jade Clark; partner, Vanessa Roman; his grandmother Sarah Clark; his sisters, Alexis Clark and Sherita Jones; his brother, John Clark; his aunts Anita Reed, Carolin Reed, Pamela Reed; his uncle’s Carnell Reed, Amos Reed and Ezra Reed; and many nieces and nephews.

Alex will be met by his beloved aunt Olivia Reed and uncle Michael Terry Barber.

Alexander’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. His funeral will be held at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden.
