Obituary: Alfredo Ramos, 63, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home): Alfredo Ramos, 63, of Meriden, loving husband of 42 years to Elizabeth Rosado, passed away on June 22, 2023, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Añasco, Puerto Rico on January 10, 1960, a son of the late Jaime Ramos and Balbina Mendez.

Besides his wife Elizabeth, Alfredo is survived by his daughter Lyzbeth Ramos and her spouse Luis A. Gonzalez, his son Christian J. Ramos, his granddaughters Nyara E. and Atalia A. Gonzalez, sisters Maribel, Merida, and Migdalia Ramos, brother Edwin Ramos, father-in-law Silvestre Rosado, brothers-in-law Miguel and Richard Rosado and their families, and many other extended family members and friends. Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his sister Aide Ramos, and his mother-in-law Ramonita Carrero.

Alfredo was an avid Yankee fan. He loved Salsa music and dancing with his wife and daughter. His pollo guisado con papas was his favorite dish to make and it was delicious. He was the best grandpa ever and his granddaughters will forever miss him, along with everyone else who had the pleasure of knowing him. Descansa en paz Freddy.
