Obituary: Ann M. Tall, 91, Of Meriden

She graduated St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in 1952, and worked as a Registered Nurse for Colony Medical Group until retirement.

MERIDEN, CT — (From Meriden Memorial Funeral Home): Ann (Mordarski) Tall, 91, of Meriden, passed away peacefully, Wednesday December 20, 2023 at the Bradley Home in Meriden. She was the loving wife of the late Edward Tall.

Ann was born in Meriden, July 17, 1932, a daughter of the late Frank Mordarski and Victoria (Knapp) Mordarski and had been a lifelong resident of Meriden. She was a student and parishioner of St. Stanislaus School and Church in Meriden, and graduate of Meriden High 1949.

She graduated St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in 1952, and was employed as a Registered Nurse for Colony Medical Group until her retirement.

Ann is survived by her two loving children Edward G. Tall of New Jersey, Diane L. Tall of Middletown, her cherished granddaughter Mikaela Tall, sister-in-law Marian (wife of Marion Mordarski), and many nieces and nephews.

As the last of her immediate family, Ann joins her siblings in eternal rest: brothers Walter (wife Grace), Joseph (wife Edwina), Marion, and Francis Mordarski; sisters Gertrude Papallo (husband Ralph) and Rita Mordarski; and pre-deceased nephew Joseph Mordarski, and niece Maureen Papallo.

Ann’s family received relatives and friends at the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St. Thursday, December 28, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Stanislaus Church, 82 Akron St., Meriden. Interment followed in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
