Obituary: Anne (Freeman) Appelle, 54, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Meriden Funeral Home): Anne (Freeman) Appelle, formerly of Wallingford, passed away peacefully on February 10th, 2023 in Denver, Colorado.

Anne was born in Meriden, CT., on April 17, 1968, the daughter of Antionette Camera and James Freeman Sr. A longtime resident of Meriden and Wallingford, Anne attended school in Wallingford. Anne enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and attending bingo.

Anne is survived by her brothers James Freeman Jr. and his wife Kim of Meriden, Everett Freeman of Wallingford, stepsister Cathy-Jo Mottram of Meriden, and stepbrother Robert Herbst of Meriden. She was pre-deceased by her husband Al Appelle.

A Graveside service will be held Monday, April 17, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Gypsy Lane, Meriden.
