Obituary: Carol Orozco, 77, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Home): Carol Orozco, 77, a lifetime resident of Meriden, CT, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at MidState Medical Center. She was born February 17, 1946, the daughter of the late Morris and Bertha Kutner.

Carol dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother and wife, married to the late Roger Orozco for 57 years until his passing in 2022.

She is survived by her four children, Roger Orozco and his wife Suzanne, David Orozco and his wife Sandra, Christopher Orozco and his wife Rhonda, and Christine Orozco and her partner Mark Moen. Carol also leaves her cherished grandchildren Ryan, Lauren, Aubrey, Kayla, Julia, Faye, Luelle, Victoria, Jeremy, Isabella, and honorary grandchildren Alexandria and Connor, as well as her adoring great-grandchildren, Jaxon and Skylar.

Carol was a devoted homemaker and a loving mother, always ensuring the best for her family. She was an exceptional cook and baker and was the happiest when gathering with family and friends. She enjoyed many things; traveling, playing cards, and most of all, a conversation over coffee. An animal-lover and avid baseball fan, Carol was beloved by many.
