Obituary: Charlie Sirico, 31, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Charlie (Caroline) Sirico, 31, of Meriden, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at his home. Born in Meriden on June 4, 1991, he was the son of Mark Sirico and Heather Cates Schweikert, and stepson of Michael Schweikert.

Charlie was most recently a taxi driver in New Haven County. In his younger days, Charlie was an avid horse rider. He was most happy with a fishing pole in a canoe. He was also active in helping people in the sober community and a real jokester.

Charlie was preceded in death by his beloved “Pa,” Dale Cates Sr. He is survived by his parents, brother Andrew Sirico, grandparents Carmel and Raymond Sirico, Grandma Tina Cates and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visiting hours will be Friday, May 12, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Havens North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Ave. A service will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, May 13 at 10 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CJK Foundation, Cheshire, CT. Interment will be private.
