Obituary: Christopher S. McLaughlin, 54, of Meriden

Christopher S. McLaughlin, 54, passed away from a long-term illness on June 18, 2020. He was born on August 17, 1965, in Millinocket, ME. He grew up in East Millinocket and Medway, ME until moving to CT in 1992 making his home in Bristol, CT for 18 years until moving to Meriden, CT where he currently resided. He is the son of the late Thaxter (Avan) and Leta (Birmingham) McLaughlin.

Chris loved many outdoor activities…such as camping, fishing and hunting. One of his favorite past times was spending time with his beloved dog Tucker of 16 yrs. (5/23/2003-1/29/19) whom was always by his side.

He is survived by the love of his life of 26 years Laura Anderson and his sister Kim McLaughlin of Simsbury, CT.

Funeral services for Chris will be private at this time. Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
