Obituary: Curtis E. Hilton, 84, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home): Curtis E. Hilton, 84, of Meriden, passed away on November 22, 2023 at the Curtis Home. He was born in Georgetown, SC on January 12, 1939, a son of the late Alex and Rosa Frierson Hilton.

Curtis is survived by his daughters, Linda, Sylvia Hilton, Patricia (Rondal) Archer, Tracy Holley, Wendy Hilton, and Yvonne Holley, and his son Benjamin “Alex” Hilton, his grandchildren, Jevon, Paris, Roderick Foster, Janell Hilton, Shamaree Brissett, Rondal Archer, Shani Holley, Jaquoi, Jeron, Kamren Belin, Alissa Leggett, and Tamika Holley, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Thomas Hilton, Mary Rickenbacker, Ollie Hilton, Emma Jean Patterson, Beulah Alston, and Edward Hilton.

Curtis worked at Cytec Industries for many years until his retirement.
