Obituary: David Sheldon Kaliss, 36, of Meriden
David, a gifted writer and a man of gentle integrity, was a devoted son and brother, a friend to many and a shoulder to lean on.
MERIDEN, CT - (From Wallingford Funeral Home) David Sheldon Kaliss, 36, of Meriden, left us unexpectedly on May 3, 2022, at his home.
He was born in Meriden on February 15, 1986; the son of Catherine (Dill) Kaliss and the late Ray Lou Kaliss.
He leaves behind two brothers, Michael and Stephan, and Stephan’s wife, Mimi, as well as many beloved friends and family.
He was a gifted writer and a man of gentle integrity. A son and brother; a friend and a shoulder to lean on.
Always someone to talk to; forever forgiving. David was as special and as strong as his unique character.
Deeply introspective, he possessed an amazing capacity for compassion and empathy.
He was a man who passed in a time of grace.
David’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. with a prayer service to be held at 6:45 p.m. during the calling hours.
