Obituary: Edna (Rosado) Sanchez, 69, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home): Edna (Rosado) Sanchez, 69, of Meriden, loving wife of Jose Sanchez, passed away on January 26, 2024 at Midstate Medical Center.

She was born in Meriden on November 1, 1954, a daughter of the late Guillermo and Aida (Negron) Rosado.

Edna is survived by her loving children, Christina Sanchez and Joey Sanchez, her granddaughter Khila Sanchez, and her siblings Sandra Rosado, George Rosado, Carmen Boschetti, Samuel Rosado, Myra Maldonado and Lisa Maldonado. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers William Rosado and Raymond Rosado.

Edna had a way of making anyone she encountered feel special. She was taken from us too soon, but lives on in our hearts and our memories forever.

A funeral service celebrating Edna’s life will be held on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in Beecher & Bennett-Flatow Funeral Home, 48 Cook Avenue, Meriden. Friends may visit with her family from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. before the service. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Meriden.
