Obituary: Frank Piascik, 86, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Frank Piascik, 86, of Meriden, husband of the late Dolores (Karbowski) Piascik, passed away August 17, 2022 at his home.

He was born in New York City on April 20, 1936, the son of the late Franscis and Anna (Hogrefe) Piascik. Frank served in the United States Air Force and the United States Navy Reserve.

Frank is survived by his sons, Gary Piascik and his wife, Kyle Anne, of Chicopee, MA, James Piascik and his wife, Lisa, of Wallingford and Michael Piascik of Meriden; his grandchildren, John, Justin (Danielle), Stephan, Ian and Nathan; and his great grandchildren, James and Isabella.

Frank’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street Ext. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden.
