Irene (Pazmandi) Torcello-Masi, 71, of the Villages Florida, formerly of Wallingford and Meriden, CT, passed away March 11, 2019 at Cornerstone Hospice & Palliative Care after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Bridgeport, January 13, 1948, to the late John Pazmandi Jr. & Irene (Lorinz) Pazmandi. She was preceded in death by her brother Stephen Pazmandi and her beloved yellow Labrador Buster.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years Mark J Masi; her son Michael Torcello & wife Priscilla (Crespo) of Wallingford, Derek Torcello & wife Jennifer (DelBuco) & Jeffrey Torcello of Meriden. Proud and loving grandmother to Mackenzie, Cameron, Dominic & Dylan.

Irene had previously worked in sales, also as a pharmacy technician and was an administrator at the Veterans Affairs office in West Haven before her retirement and subsequent move to Florida. Besides her love for all animals especially Labradors, Irene loved to take family vacations and shared her hobby of golfing with her sons, she had a special love for the Islands where she was known to collect shells. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and was a "hoot." They now take comfort with the knowledge that she is no longer in pain and has been reunited with her best friend Buster

The family will have a private Interment at Mountain Grove Cemetery
