Obituary: John C. LaRock, 57, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): John C. LaRock, 57, of Meriden, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, November 24, 2023.

John was born in New Haven, May 29, 1966, a son of the late Donald J. LaRock Sr. and Adeline (Matheis) LaRock.

He was employed as a painter for many years and loved fishing.

John is survived by his daughters, Bailey LaRock of New York, and Jessica LaRock of Texas; his fiancée, Victoria Jackson of Wallingford; his siblings, Kimberly Ardito and her companion Al Cavuoti of Wallingford, Michael LaRock and his wife Diana of Wallingford, and Theresa LaRock and her husband Peter Grimm of Roxbury; his nieces and nephews, Danielle, Nicholas, A.J., Keith, Jason, Robbie, Samantha and Nicole. He was predeceased by his brother, Donald J. LaRock Jr.; and his stepfather, John Matheis.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. At 12 p.m. eulogies will be shared. Interment will be private.
