Obituary: Lucyna Nawrocka, 72, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Meriden Memorial Funeral Home): Lucyna Nawrocka, 72, of Meriden, passed away peacefully, Monday, May 1, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Roman Nawrocki.

Lucyna was born in Poland, March 7, 1951, a daughter of the late Michal Klosowski and Antonina Klebanska and had been a Meriden resident for many years. She had been employed in the physical therapy profession and was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church in Meriden. Lucyna was an amazing baker, cook, and decorator, who cherished life and appreciated good company.

Lucyna is survived by her devoted son Daniel Nawrocki and his wife Agnes of Cheshire; her two cherished grandchildren Adrian and Alexandra Nawrocki; a brother; and a sister in Poland; several nieces; and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church, Meriden. Inurnment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Gifts in memory of Lucyna may be made to St. Faustina Parish, 82 Akron St., Meriden, 06450. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St.
