Obituary: Michael S. Kinard, 48, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Michael S. Kinard, 48, of Meriden, died unexpectedly on August 2, 2022.

Michael was born in Meriden, March 29, 1974, and was a 1992 graduate of Platt H.S. where he was a member of the baseball team. He was a standout baseball and softball player and also played on the Ryders softball team. Michael was an avid N.Y. Yankees and Giants fan.

He is survived by his children, Alyssa, Trent and Austin Kinard; his father Steve Kinard and his wife Marie; his mother, Brenda (Biron)Pulaski, and sister, Andrea Szymaszek; his children’s mother, Sarah Kinard; close family friend Kelly Schirra; as well as many aunts and uncles and cousins.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford, CT, on Friday, Aug. 12 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
