Omar Cordero, 39, of Meriden, formerly of New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, May 17, 2020.
Omar was born in Newark, New Jersey, May 15, 1981, a son of Celia Maldonado of New Jersey and the late Miguel Cordero. Omar enjoyed cooking and had been employed as a chef. He also enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mom, he is survived by his siblings Lisa Bonet, Madelyn Willhite, Denise Cordero, and Steven Valentin; many aunts; uncles; cousins; and friends.
