Obituary: Patricia Ann (Novak) Ingeno, 81, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Meriden Memorial Funeral Home): Patricia Ann (Novak) Ingeno, 81, of Estero, Florida and Meriden, CT, passed away peacefully, Monday, November 6, 2023 at Mulberry Gardens in Plantsville. She was the loving wife of the late Donald Ingeno.

Patricia was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on October 18, 1942, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary (Kurczaba) Novak.

She attended school in Meriden and was a graduate of Maloney High School. She enjoyed her 30-year career at Cigna and left as their Director of the Medicare Fraud Unit in Bloomfield. Pat retired in 2000 to start her next life journey in Estero, Florida with her husband, Don, enjoying the sun, family, and friends, for over 17 years before returning to CT.

Pat is survived by her beloved children, Christine (Robert) Scully, of Rocky Hill, and Michael (Cheryl) Ingeno, of Meriden; her cherished grandchildren, Ashley (Vin), Daniel, Jillian, and Michael (Sylvie) as well as brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Edward and sister Dorothy.

Private services will be held to honor her memory. She will be laid to rest in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to support the Connecticut Humane Society, 700 Russell Road, Newington, CT. 06111 and Choroideremia Research Foundation, 23 East Brundreth Street, Springfield, MA 01109-2110. Arrangements were made under the direction of the Meriden Memorial Funeral Home, 450 Broad St.
