Obituary: Paul E. Lemke, 54, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Paul E. Lemke, 54, of Meriden, died September 23, 2023, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain after a brief illness.

Paul was born in Meriden, March 31, 1969, the son of Edward F. Lemke Jr. and Joyce (Gullo Lemke of Meriden.

Paul's greatest passion was music and he was gifted with playing the guitar. His other passion was hiking and camping especially with his best friend Paul Lheureux. Paul also was a Catholic who received all his sacraments at Mount Caramel Church. He highly admired praying often the Litany of Blessed Father Michael McGivney.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Kevin Diaz of Meriden, his brother Jeffrey and sister-in-law, Doris Lemke also of Meriden. Paul was an Uncle and Great Uncle who was loved very much and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be private and are under the direction of The Wallingford Funeral Home.
