Obituary: Susan C. Hicinbothem, 73, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Meriden Memorial Funeral Home): Susan (Carabetta) Hicinbothem, 73, loving wife of Robert Hicinbothem Sr., passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, October 15, 2023 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Susan was born in Meriden, October 22, 1949, a daughter of the late Ralph Carabetta and Helen (Wnuk) Carabetta and had been a lifelong Meriden resident. She was employed as the secretary for many years at St. Stanislaus School in Meriden and was later employed by the ARC of Southington and most recently, Big Y.

In addition to her husband Bob, she is survived by her three loving children, Robert Hicinbothem Jr. and his wife Christina, Heather Hicinbothem and Kevin Hicinbothem; two cherished grandsons Thaddeus and Grayden Hicinbothem; and her faithful four-legged companions “Rocket” and “Tatum.” She was predeceased by her brother Ralph Carabetta Jr.,
