Obituary: Tammy L. Ortiz, 42, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Tammy L. Ortiz, 42, of Meriden, wife of Alvin Ortiz, passed away December 23, 2022, at Hartford Hospital.

Tammy was born in Meriden on April 18, 1980, a daughter of George and Deborah (McKevitt) Brauch of Wallingford.

Tammy loved her children and family. Her love for Country music always put a smile on her face. She also played softball for many years and was in the Miss Teen Pageant of Connecticut. In her younger years she did many hours of community service for Masonicare and always helped anyone in need.

In addition to her parents, Tammy is survived by her Son, Andrew Delillo of Wallingford; her daughters, Mykenzie Maldonado and her husband, Josiah, of Jacksonville, NC, Cheyenne Brauch and Madison Brauch, both of Wallingford; and her brother, Noah Brauch of Wallingford.

Tammy’s family will receive relatives and friends at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street, Ext. on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Her funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. during calling hours. Burial will be private.
