Obituary: William Joseph Ploof, 53, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home): William Joseph Ploof, 53, of Meriden, passed away on January 2, 2023. He was born on July 29, 1969 in Bridgeport and the son of Helen (Burhance) Ploof of Milford and the late William H. Ploof.

Billy worked as a Head Mechanic for Bozzuto’s for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and an avid camper.

In addition to his mother, Billy leaves his devoted sisters, Donna Marie Ploof, Lisa Ann Ploof, and Debbie Noreen Ploof all of Milford and four nephews, several grand nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Family and friends may call on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. at King’s Highway Cemetery, Milford.
