Obituary: Zbigniew Kedzior, 72, Of Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Zbigniew Kedzior, 72, of Meriden, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Danuta (Los) Kedzior.

He was born in Poland, May 20, 1950, the son of the late Stefan and Maria Kedzior. Ziggy retired from Infra-Metals Co. in Wallingford. Ziggy and Danuta came to the United States in 1981, only knowing Polish. Ziggy and his family not only survived the new life they chose, they thrived as the years went on. Ziggy was proud of the life he built here and the family he created.

In addition to his wife Danuta, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Amanda Kedzior; his granddaughter, Sofia; his sister and brother-in-law, Danuta and Stanley Dragula; and his nephew, Thomas Dragula.

His family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St. Ext., on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Wallingford.
