Officials: Meriden Director May Have Staged Burglary

Editor’s note: We posted this story last week, but posted it again considering the importance and seriousness of the accusations. 

City Health and Human Services Director Lisa Pippa has been placed on leave as police and city officials investigate whether she staged a burglary to set-up another employee.

As first reported by the Record-Journal, police set-up a hidden camera which provided evidence that she may have staged a burglary, according to City Manager Lawrence Kendzior.

An investigation is underway.

Other employees have also received bizarre letters with writing that was sometimes upside down or vertical.
