Parking Ban Announced In Meriden

Officials have announced a parking ban that will be in effect in Meriden due to extreme weather in the forecast.

MERIDEN, CT — The Public Works Department has announced that a parking ban will be in effect in Meriden due to the extreme weather that is expected this week, according to police.

Police said the parking ban will go into effect at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24. The ban will stay active until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26.

“Please remove all vehicles from city streets,” police wrote. “Residents without private parking may park in the following Designated Parking Areas:

“-Columbus Park, Washington Park, Ceppa Field d, North End Field, City Park, Municipal Lot (Catlin St.), Municipal Lot (St. Casimir Dr.), 79 Miller St., Orange Cook Ave Lot.”
