PD: Man Rammed Police Cruiser on I-691 in Meriden

A man was arrested after he fled from police and allegedly rammed his car into a police cruiser before he crashed, according to police.

Anthony Pooser, 31, of Bridgeport was charged with assault on a public safety officer and other charges after the July 31 incident, according to the Record-Journal. He was arrested on JAn. 28.

Pooser allegedly left the scene of a domestic disturbance in Meriden and eventually made it on to I-691 westbound.
