PD: Meriden Man Arrested for Possession of Child Porn

A Meriden man was arrested after he was allegedly found in possession of child pornography.

State Police tracked shared child pornography to a Meriden apartment at 72 Meetinghouse Ridge in June, police said.

State and Meriden police conducted a search at the apartment of Ray Clifton, 52, on July 1. Items were seized, including suspected child pornography.

Clifton turned himself in on a warrant Nov. 2. He was processed and released on a $10,000 bond. He was charged with first-degree illegal possession of child pornography and promoting a minor in obscene material.
