Platt Sweeps Season Series With Rival Maloney In Boys Basketball: PHOTOS
The Platt boys basketball team picked up its 15th straight victory with a win over city rival Maloney.
MERIDEN, CT — The Platt boys basketball team picked up its 15th straight victory with a 64-49 win over city rival Maloney on Friday night at Platt High School.
With the win, the Panthers (17-3) swept the season series with the Spartans. Platt also defeated Maloney on Jan. 16 by a score of 68-53.
Maloney (14-6) saw its three-game winning streak come to an end with the loss.

Maloney junior Mike Massey recorded his 1,000th career point in the loss to Platt.
The Spartans look to get back on track with a road game against Bloomfield on Tuesday, Feb. 24.
