Plymouth Police Closing In On Elusive Beefalo

PLYMOUTH, CT — Buddy the Beefalo is still on the loose, but police said they have a plan for his rescue. Plymouth police said on Facebook that they have raised over $7,000.

"This money will be used to purchase Buddy and then the remainder will Be donated to the animal sanctuary that takes him," the department wrote. "Tomorrow night we will announce where he will be going. There has been a lot of research done on where Buddy should go."

Police posted photos of the trailer where they hope Buddy will go.

"Because of all the great sighting reports everyone called in, we were able to set up a good place to capture him."

Buddy the Beefalo is a cross between a bison and domestic cattle. He has been missing in Plymouth since August, according to WFSB.
