Police Investigate Armed Robbery Of Meriden Restaurant: Report
A restaurant was robbed at gunpoint Monday night.
MERIDEN, CT — Police are investigating an armed robbery of a Meriden restaurant Monday night, according to The Meriden Record-Journal. Police responded to Wa Wa Kitchen at 51 Pratt St. at 9:12 p.m.
The suspect showed a handgun and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Amtrak trains were temporarily stopped during a search of the area. Police are collecting surveillance footage and the case remains active, according to The Meriden Record-Journal.
