Police Search For Suspect In Armed Robbery Of Meriden Bank

A bank on East Main Street was robbed Wednesday morning, according to a report.

MERIDEN, CT — Police are investigating following an armed robbery of a bank Wednesday morning, The Meriden Record-Journal reported. The suspect entered Liberty Bank on East Main Street at 10 a.m.

He was armed and demanded money from a clerk. It was not clear what type of weapon the suspect had.

He fled on foot. No injuries were reported, according to The Meriden Record-Journal.
