Public Works Not Collecting Debris From Storm In Meriden
City officials are also advising residents that the transfer station will be open for extended hours during the month of November.
MERIDEN, CT -- City officials are advising residents that the Department of Public Works will not be collecting debris from this past weekend's storm event. The transfer station will be open extended hours for the month of November. The extended hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Transfer Station will be open on Saturday, Nov. 11 and Nov. 25 from 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon for the drop off of leaves and brush only. These hours are in addition to the normal hours of Monday, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and the first and third Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
