Reckless Driver Causes Crash With Injuries: Police

Meriden Police say they have arrested a man on a litany of charges after his reckless driving caused a crash.

MERIDEN, CT — Police have arrested a driver for allegedly causing an accident involving injuries. According to police, detectives observed a white Nissan maneuvering in and out of traffic, recklessly, negligently, and in complete disregard for the safety of others.

From a considerable distance, the detectives saw the Nissan strike another motor vehicle and cause injuries. The extent of those injuries was not available.

The driver, David Michael O'Brien, was arrested on the following charges: possession of a controlled substance, interfering with arrest, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, weapons in a motor vehicle, misuse of plates, and theft of plates.
