Restaurant Closes For Renovations In Meriden
The restaurant closed this week and the reopening date is undetermined at this point.
MERIDEN, CT — A downtown restaurant/café in Meriden closed this week for renovations. Nina’s Café, located at 39 West Main Street, announced in a Facebook post that it was closing as of Oct. 22 for remodeling. Its reopening date is to be determined, according to the post.
The Meriden Record-Journal reports that Nina’s owner has previously had discussions with the city to renovate the former Middle Eastern lunch spot and patio into a full-scale restaurant.
The café, which serves breakfast, lunch and offers catering, also featured live entertainment and billiards at night.
