Restaurant, Taproom In Works On Colony Street

A restaurant and taproom could be coming to a vacant commercial space.

MERIDEN, CT - A developer has plans to open a restaurant and taproom at 24 Colony St., according to the Meriden Record-Journal. Westmount Management President Rick Ross said leasing is in progress with two parties, one for a breakfast and lunch restaurant and the other a taproom.

The $24 million building opened in 2016. While apartments filled quickly, the 10,000 square-foot commercial space has remained empty thus far.
