Road Closure, Detours Announced In Meriden
The city announces several detours and traffic flow pattern changes that will be in effect for a road milling project.

MERIDEN, CT — The city of Meriden announces a road closure and several detours and traffic flow pattern changes that will be in effect for a road milling project.
The city has contracted to perform road milling on the following roads:
- Finch Ave from Cheshire Town Line (Allen Ave) to Johnson Ave,
- Prospect Ave from Hanover St to New Hanover Ave,
- New Hanover Ave from Hanover Rd to Prospect Ave, Crown St Ext from Adams St to Hall Ave,
- Kensington Ave from E of Chamberlain Hwy to Bailey Ave,
- Baldwin Ave from Bee St to Preston Ave,
- Pomeroy Ave from East Main St Near Fire Station) to Research Pkwy (Four Points Sheraton),
- High Hill Rd from Wildwoods Rd to Dead End
Work will occur from June 19 to June 28, weather dependent. Crews will be working daily between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Finch Avenue will be closed to through traffic on June 19 and detours will be in place.

On all other roads, alternating one-way traffic patterns will be in place with periodic short term closures. No on-street parking will be permitted. Access to driveways and cross streets may be delayed.
