Second Meriden Child Dies in Fatal Waterford Crash

Another child who was seriously injured in a fatal Waterford crash on Sunday night has died.
Sanaa Reynolds, 9, of Meriden succumbed to her injuries at Yale-New Haven Hospital Tuesday morning, according to the Record-Journal.
Sanaa’s half-brother Dacari Robinson, 3, was pronounced dead at the scene of a four-vehicle crash on I-95 South in Waterford Sunday night. A truck crashed into three cars that were stopped or slowed for another crash. Adults Baughnita Leary, 25, and Darin Robinson, 26, were injured in the crash as well.

State police spokesman Lt. J Paul Vance said that the accident is still being investigated, according to the Record-Journal.
A GoFundMe campaign was started yesterday for the family. As of Tuesday afternoon it had raised more than $2,200 for the family.
