Serious Crash Results In Hospitalizations: Meriden Police

The crash happened in front of the Flamingo Inn in Meriden, according to police.

MERIDEN, CT — A serious crash resulted in hospitalizations Thursday afternoon in Meriden, according to police.

Police responded around 3:15 p.m. to reports of a serious crash in front of the Flamingo Inn at 1601 North Broad Street in Meriden.

Officers found that two vehicles had collided in the northbound lane of North Broad Street and both vehicles had come to a rest in the Inn’s driveway, according to police.

Police said the impact of the crash was significant and the occupants of both vehicles were injured.

All of the occupants were taken to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation, according to police.

Police said Friday afternoon that all the occupants are believed to be recovering from injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
