Shooting Reported In Meriden Mall Parking Lot: Police
Police are investigating a report of shots fired in the Meriden Mall parking lot on Tuesday morning.
MERIDEN, CT — Police are investigating a report of shots fired in the Meriden Mall parking lot on Tuesday morning.
Police responded to the Meriden Mall at 470 Lewis Ave. around 11:50 a.m. on Oct. 20 on the report of shots fired, according to Sgt. Darrin McKay
Arriving officers found that one car had been traveling in the mall’s parking lot and it had been chasing another vehicle.

McKay said an unidentified person who was in the vehicle that was chasing the other car fired multiple rounds. Police don’t know at this time if the car that was being chased was struck.
There have been no reports of any victims, according to McKay.
