Silver Alert Canceled For Teen, 17, Missing From Meriden

UPDATE: The Silver Alert has been canceled for Fernando Rivera, police said in an update on March 1. The case has been resolved, and no further information was released.

MERIDEN, CT — A Silver Alert has been issued for Fernando Rivera, 17, who has been missing from Meriden since Tuesday, Feb. 21, according to Connecticut State Police.

Rivera is described by police as a white male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black sweatpants, and an orange backpack.
