South Windsor Plans Library Elevator Replacement
The town is seeking state funding to replace the library's elevator.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - The town is seeking $250,000 in state funding to pay for an elevator replacement for the library, according to the Hartford Courant. The town's facilities manager said the company that made the elevator went out of business years ago and parts are no longer being made for it.

The elevator connects the two floors of the library and is deemed critical for use by patrons with disabilities and the elderly.
