Our Lady Queen of Angels will host a workshop, Spirituality & The World’s Major Religions with Sister Dr. Patty Cook, RSM & Dr Mãria Decsy on Saturday December 1, 2018.
Members of all faiths are invited to join in for a special program as the 2018 Advent Season begins. The workshop as described by Sister Patty: “Too often we have learned to see the religions of the world in competitive terms of differences and divisions. Let us ponder together the common ground, the wisdom and spiritual treasures that underlie them. We shall consider the ancient religions of India, China and Japan. We shall look to the Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Together we shall take an eagle’s eye view in a one-day workshop.
The program begins at 9:00 am for registration and the session runs from 9:30 am to 4 pm and will take place in Lapenta Hall of the Mt Carmel Campus of the parish, 109 Goodwill Ave, Meriden, CT.
