Students In Meriden To Receive Meals At No Cost
The Meriden Public School district will receive funding under an expanded federal grant program for the meals.

MERIDEN, CT — An expanded federal grant program will provide funding for students at all of Meriden’s 12 public schools to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost next year, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports the school district received the increased federal grant because of the city’s “high need.” Five schools in the district provided breakfast and lunch at no cost under the current program, according to the Record-Journal.
