Tuesday, April 5 at 6:00 pm in the Griffin Room of the Meriden Public Library.
Open to kids 3rd + - Come grab a screwdriver, wire cutters, pliers, or hammer for a fabulous "Take-Apart Party"! We're getting destructive in the name of earning and recycling! Taking things apart is a great way to examine the objects in our daily lives. This fun activity also grows your maker insight as you learn about components, assembly, and materials. We'll be taking apart keyboards, DVD players and lots of other random items. Expert tinkerers and volunteers will be circulating to help reveal and describe the inner workings! Come explore! (Special thanks to NESIT of Meriden for their generous support.)
