Three Meriden Buildings to be Demolished This Week
The buildings are all located along South Colony Street.
The demolition of buildings along South Colony Street will be going on this week, the Meriden Record Journal reports.
The former Church and Morse hardware building at 33 South Colony Street is scheduled to be razed Wednesday. Additionally, an adjacent building at 51 South Colony Street is scheduled to be razed along with another one at 53 South Colony Street.
The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection had stalled the project over asbestos and PCBs removal.
